Power limits of a 350th transmission?

I found a 400 small block Chevy for sale, and I was thinking about building it up and dropping it in my 78 El Camino.
Right now my El Camino has a stock 350th transmission and I was wondering if this motor would be too powerful for it to handle. [...]
