There is no different in the ballast proper. A UV lamp (of a size) is just a standard fluorescent lamp electrically, with different phosphor, no phosphor, and/or different glass.

Normally the physical arrangement of a T8 fixture won’t allow it. If there is enough room, check the label on the ballast. It will list the bulb sizes supported.

RAM in Metal Detector?

If I had to take RAM, (4×2GB) Through an airport, and through the metal detector, still in its original packaging, will the metal detector, or anything else it will go through (altitude?) possibly mess the RAM up?
