Woods Help Urgent?

I have a final tomorrow and i need to know answers to these and i cant figure them out..

if you wanted a light and dark wood contrast, i could see

Yes it is the masonry bits that wear out,though on normal ceramic tiles they glide through.

Ok first of all I made the mistake of buying online, but the situation it was the only was to obtain the drill. Second I am either really bad with these tools or the drill is broken.
