modern woman stereotype?
okay yesterday i was watching this segment on tv and these women were shopping then they went and had a coffee with "the girls" and it was all in good humor and light hearted, and it got me thinking is anyone other than me sick of the modern woman stereotype of a woman who only cares about diamonds,shopping,socializing,shoes,romance,beauty,marriage and girly shit. my parents actually asked me if i was a lesbian because im not interested in what woman are supposedly meant to be intrested in, is anyone else pissed about this?
I find it silly that girls grow up thinking this is how women are supposed to act. I was more of a tom boy growing up, but yeah I'm married to a man. I don't agree with the psycho feminist point of view either where women exist just to emasculate men. I think you can be feminine while not taking sexist BS at the same time.
