Engine Master Parts

Remington Chainsaw wont start?
I have a Remington Yard Master I and I cant get the saw to start. I have cleaned the carburetor toughly, added new gas, and cleaned the engine well in general. One part of the engine that is confusing to me is the carburetor has two connections that run to the gas tank. When i bought the saw the one that ran gas from the carb. to the gas tank leaked badly but the saw ran, then to fix the leak i twisted wire around the connection at the joint and now the saw wont run? What do you thinks wrong?
The saw has a spark.
Thanks for the answer renpen but the saw which im making a chainsaw scooter out of only cost $20.00 and im 13 and dont wont to invest any more money.
I'm pretty sure the lines are good I can see the gas flowing through them when I pull
I will assume that you have checked the spark and it is good. The most likely problem is the carburetor, that is until you talked about repairing the fuel line. If you have taken the carburetor apart you will need to get a rebuild kit for it. The cost about $15.00. It will contain the diaphrams and parts you need to rebuild the carburetor. The diapharm is the fuel pump. Now for the fuel line. If it is not air tight it will cause the fuel pump not to get fuel to the carburetor. The fuel line should be replaced with new stuff. It is not that hard and cheap. Also there is likely a filter on the end of the fuel intake line in the fuel tank. You should replace that also. Replace both fuel lines, fuel filter, and rebuild the carb.
